 FAQs

  • Guests will find me at the event space, where I'll have a table set up. They can just come over whenever they're ready to get painted!

  • I usually aim to include just two people per portrait to make sure we can capture as many guests as possible during the event. But hey, I'm not strict about it—I'm happy to make exceptions sometimes!

  • Unfortunately, I don’t offer this service at the moment. However, if you're interested in having your ceremony or another special moment from your wedding beautifully illustrated, you can always reach out to me afterwards. I'd love to create something unique just for you in my studio!

  • I absolutely love having guests come watch me paint! Seeing the artwork come to life is half the fun for everyone!

  • When you're deciding on a package, it's all about tailoring it to your needs! Think of it like picking out portraits that can also serve as sweet party favors. You can select your package based on the number of guests you're expecting, which is perfect for sending out those post-wedding thank-yous. Or, if you're aiming for more entertainment vibes, choose based on how long you want me around. Pro tip: it's usually a good idea to go for a package that accommodates fewer guests than you anticipate, since not everyone may want to join in on the fun.

  • It usually takes me around 8-10 minutes to paint one guest, but that can vary a bit depending on what they're wearing and how they're posing. If there are two guests, it might take me between 12-15 minutes to complete the portrait, again depending on their attire and pose. However, my packages are based on the number of guests you'd like painted, so whether I finish painting them on-site or later, the selected number of guests will always receive their paintings.

  • Nope, guests don't have to worry about sitting still for me to paint. I simply snap a picture of them, and then they are free to enjoy the party without FOMO! Once the event is over, they can swing by my table to pick up their completed portrait.

  • Of course! While these items aren't included in my live illustration package, I'd be more than happy to collaborate with you on a custom order!

  • I want your wedding day to be absolutely wonderful, and I'm here to make sure you don't miss a moment of the joy! Along with capturing live illustrations during your event, all of my packages come with a special complementary 9x12 watercolor portrait of the newlyweds. It's a beautiful keepsake created from a photo I'll take of you on your big day, so you'll have a lovely, detailed illustration to cherish forever.

  • My guest illustrations are done with watercolors, and while they might need a little time to dry, don't worry! All portraits will be ready for guests to take home with them at the end of the event.

  • I want to ensure everyone has a chance to have their portrait captured, so I'll be sure to jot down the names of your guests when I take their picture. Any incomplete guest illustrations will come back with me to the studio to finish, along with your complimentary newlywed portrait. You can expect them to be mailed to you within 14 business days after the event, with the guests' names on the back so you can easily identify everyone.

  • At the end of the night, any illustrations left behind will come home with me. I'll make sure to include them with your final batch of illustrations!
